About Horizon Dyslexia

Hi I’m Danielle a dyslexia specialist.

Living with dyslexia can shape the way a person feels about themselves. I understand this, and I’m here to change it.

With over 20 years’ teaching and special educational needs (SEN) experience, and as a Professional Member of the British Dyslexia Association (BDA), I provide specialist, evidence-based support for young people, families, schools and employers navigating dyslexia.

My approach is calm and person-centred. I take the time to understand each individual; their strengths, their challenges and what success looks like for them, before recommending a way forward. Every assessment, every piece of guidance, and every conversation is tailored.

I believe dyslexia support should do more than identify difficulties. It should build confidence, transform attitudes to learning, and make everyday life easier for the whole family.

Whether you’re a parent seeking clarity, a school looking for expert guidance, or an employer wanting to better support your team, I am here to advise and guide.
